Spring Locating Pins

Spring Locating Pins are press-fit inserts for fixturing small parts in tight, compact spaces. Use them for positioning and chucking flat or round parts in workholding and fixture applications. Each pin features an aluminum body, an alloy steel pressure pin and a high-performance spring that provides repeatable end force. The design also includes the Vlier seal for applications where fluids are present. Available in body diameters from 1/4 through 5/8″ with side force values from 2.2 to 67.5 lbf, depending on part number. Product not available in metric.

• Required side force (2.2 to 67.5 lbf, depending on part number)
• Body diameter (1/4, 7/16, 1/2 or 5/8″)
• Body length, toggle length and toggle diameter (B–E per table)
• Lateral movement requirement (max value per part number)
• Application environment requiring the Vlier seal
