Torque Thumb Screws

Torque thumb screws are mechanical clamping components for holding, support and workholding applications. Vlier offers five designs on this page: Regular Type A, Swivel Pad Type, Inverted Type B, Tee Head Type C and Adjustable Type D. All five designs include a checknut to help prevent back-off during operation. Available sizes on this page range from 10–32 through 5/8–11, depending on design, with estimated end force values from 8 to 125 lbf. Product not available in metric.

• Thread size (10–32 through 5/8–11, depending on design)
• Estimated end force requirement
• Contact style or pad option (standard, steel swivel pad or Delrin® swivel pad, where listed)
• Overall length and envelope dimensions (A–F per table, depending on design)
• Adjustable torque requirement (3–6 in–lb., Adjustable Type D only)
